God’s Word always leads God’s servant in the time of testing. But how strange is this request “Go to Gentile territory of Zarephath where a widow will feed you.(Zarephath means refining) and God was certainly putting his servant through the furnace. But God’s commands are never wrong, when the widow put God first (by obeying Elijah’s commands), God provided for her, her son, and her guest. Remember all God asks is that we give Him what we have, and He will take care of the rest. He can feed thousands with only a few loaves and fishes. It's only a test. Pay your tithes and offerings to the local church today.
